CAPT. SCOTT WOOD
Meet your guide:
Growing up in eastern North Carolina, I have been fishing the beautiful waters of the crystal coast for just over 40 years. I currently live in Cove City, NC. My father took me fishing for my very first time when I was 6 years old. I cut my teeth down in the Swansboro area fishing the ocean and marshes about 10 years for trout, drum and flounder. From there I moved to learn the Pamlico Sound and its tributaries, the Neuse River, Trent River, and Bay River, Pamlico River, and Pungo River targeting flounder, speckled trout, puppy drum, stripers, and the big red drum. Since then I have been working on different techniques to consistently put customers on fish. I keep data and logs of every fish I have caught since 2002.

My goal is to learn something new everyday I am out on the water. I have studied each species I target over the years, their life patterns, spawning habits, and movements. As I stated before, all of that information has been documented by hands on knowledge and will be passed on to you with the latest and most successful methods to catch fish. Catching fish is just part of the experience. I will also educate you on the "how to" with one on one instruction, no matter what the experience level. The goal is to maximize the time out on the water to help you learn and understand the theories and tactics of fish movement, lure presentation, and proper use of the equipment. I have fished up and down the east coast from Virginia to Florida and have shared information with alot of experienced fishermen. Come and experience first hand, a great time out on the water, and expect to catch fish!
